We got a few new roommates. were in an 8 person dorm so people come and go all the time. except this one guy frankie whos there allt he time, right now we have a couple from england, two guys who are sooooo funny from england, frankie from holland and the three of us. the room is super full but it makes fr some pretty interesting conversations, theere were two french girls int here with us too for one night and kayle is moving in with us tonight.
so we've been told we dont write enough details on our days. mstly during the day we either get lost around twon drinking coffee and walking or spend it lying ont he beach and workin on our tans. we love bondi beach sooooo much, its soooo pretty and everyone is a tourist so the people are from all over. everyhting is kinda expensive but thats all you can do. so far were all still in vacation mode and loving it. a much needed holiday for all of us.
so far we havent gone out to bars to much, were all kinda jet legged still. tuesday ngiht we went for dinner with Anna a girl i know form when i was a nanny in italy, i met her after i ran away she was a nanny for Nuria before i was and she was in Val gardena visiting her boyfriend for a few weeks. shes from sydney and so is Samara another one of nurias old nannies, she also ran away while the family was on vacation. so me and shanna and julie all went for dinner with thwe two of them on a deck facing the oprah hosue and harbour bridge a really pretty cool spot. ( very local of us) ahha and we all talked about nuria and compared experiences. we took a photo of the three ex nannies and were going to email it to her. hahah just out of spite. then thursday ngith we went our with everyone from our hostel and we went to Scubar and it was colours of the rainbow night. i wore a yellow shirt with a neon pink one over and yellow flippers, which i was dared to wear to the bar for the night, not only did i win the bet but i also won 10$ and a jug of beer from a bartender! haha im going out in flippers every nigth! haha it was a super fun night and we made friends with people from the hostel which was good. lots of people staying there have been ther for months and just love it too much to leave. weve met a few canadians so far but not as many as we expected.
last night we went out with the guys from our room (the bitish ones who are funny) we went to a pub with live music for drinks, the bar was cool it had biog seats of coushins around the tables.... it made foir sleepy canadians. so we had a half early nigth and went to bed early. i think were going to do surf camp for two days this week at 7 mile beach up the coast. its not to expensive and we are all itching to learn properly. we love wacthing everyone else surf tough ahah tis fun.
anyway the title come s form one of the british guys who had to steal one of his roommates back packs casue he had to run from the cops becasue he didnt pay his last night int he hostel casue they told ihm they ahd a job for him but didnt. either way it was a funny quote! he's pretty harmless so no one worry but it was really funny.
sorrry im not funny when i ahvent had coffee at 11 am. buttttt much much lvoe from aussie.
your fav nolan, Jules xo

Okay... I fully get the need for a long vacation, but do you girls have work visas for Australia, or is this going to be a 3-4 month beach holiday? Are you going to be able to stay in the hostel for a while, or will you still be looking for an appartment? Can you cook your own meals in the hostel? And I know you just got there, and don't want to think about the long term furture, but when are you all going to be back in this part of the world?
ReplyDeleteEnough of the questions, it was a gorgeous fall day here and we spent it out in the garden this morning flooding the lawn while taking down the swimming pool, and on the lake this afternoon for a bonfire and a mugup. Pancakes with fresh partridgeberris for supper.
Have fun surfing, and post pictures sooner rather than later.
Love xoxo M
I'm after reading something about an englishman running from the cops and its funny but no details and well not to funny from here so I think Juilie should not post blogs of stories, she is all over the place to crazy, Shanna you or Burke will have to tell the third person stories. But little Nolan keep doing the day briefs because your caotic ramblings make for a fun read. I'm so jealous I do not know why I'm even reading these blogs it makes it harder to work knowing I should just take off to Aussie land, but because I'm addicted keep the post coming.
ReplyDeleteYour blogs make me crazy jealous being here in Newfoundland and in school! Everything sounds so awesome! I'm also addicted to reading about your crazy shinanigans :)
ReplyDeleteHope that your finally over your jet-lag! Keep the stories coming!
xoxo
